Cycling across the Jalori Pass
Jalori pass in Himachal Pradesh is definitely among the steepest roads in the country. It is easily accessible from Manali as well as Shimla.
This was one on of my first multi-day cycling trip. We were not sure what we were getting into so we had a car running behind us and carrying our stuff. We just carried our water bottles. Still it was hard.
If you are just starting out this is a good place to start. Easily accessible but tough.
